[미팅 영어회화] 거절의 표현들

미팅이나 대화 중에 상대방의 의견/의사를 거절할 때 쓰는 표현들을 알아보자.

(최근 거절해야 하는 일들이 많아서 두서없이 주관적인 공부 순서대로 작성 중)

여러가지 표현들이 있지만, 실제로 원어민들도 많이 사용해서 귀에 익은 표현들을 따로 << 표시해봤다.

1. we cannot accept that proposal.
2. It seems that it doesn't align with what we discussed.  <<
3. We may need to explore a different direction this time.  <<
4. We're not interested in the proposal you've made.
5. It doesn't seem sufficient from our perspective.  <<
6. We can't make a decision on that right now.
7. We need to give it more consideration.
8. There are concerns we have that prevent us from participating.
9. It's currently not feasible due to time constraints.
10. It doesn't meet our requirements.
11. We appreciate the offer, but it's not a good fit for us.
12. This doesn't meet our criteria.
13. We cannot accommodate your request.   <<<<<<<
14. We're not in favor of this approach.
15. We're unable to approve this request.
16. We're sorry, but it's not feasible for us.
17. We can't move forward with this at this time.

결국엔 앞뒤 문맥도 고려해서 말을 해야겠지만 어떤 표현들이 있는지 관용구처럼 머릿속에 가지고 있다면 즉문즉답식으로 바로 튀어나올 수 있게 연습이 되지 않을까...
