[Vocabulary] 계약협상 관련 단어공부(Day 1)

본 게시글은 해외 업체들과 사업을 진행하면서 본인 스스로 살아남기 위한 개인적인이지만 여러분들께 도움이 되는 Key Vocabulary를 함께 공부해보자는 취지에서 작성하고 있습니다. 본인의 상황을 대입해보거나 시뮬레이션을 하면서 연습/암기하고 같이 살아남아보시죠 :)

 

 

[Key Vocabulary]

Negotiation - 협상  /   유의어: Bargaining, Haggling

Contract - 계약       /   유의어: Agreement, Deal

Agreement - 합의   /   유의어: Consensus, Accord(잘 안쓰이는데..)

Proposal - 제안       /   유의어: Offer, Suggestion

Compromise - 타협 /   유의어: Middle ground(??), Settlement, Mitigation(협의안 개념에서..)

Terms - 조건           /    유의어: Conditions, Provisions

Clause - 조항           /    유의어: Provision, Section

Bargaining - 흥정     /    유의어: Haggling, Negotiating

Counteroffer - 반대 제안   /  유의어: Alternative offer, Revised offer

Consensus - 합의     /    유의어: Agreement, Unity???

 

[Example Sentences]

 

Let's begin the negotiation. - 협상을 시작하시죠.

 = Let's start negotiating. / Let's open the negotiation.

 

We need to discuss the terms. - 우리 이 조건에 대해 협의해야 합니다.

 = We need to talk about the terms. / We need to review the conditions.

What is your proposal? - 당신의 제안은 무엇이죠?

 = What do you propose? / What's your suggestion?

We need to reach a compromise. - 타협을 해야 합니다.

 = We need to find a middle ground. / We need to make a concession.

Can we agree on this point? - 이 점에 동의/합의할 수 있나요?

 = Can we concur on this issue? / Can we settle on this point?

Let's review the contract. - 계약서를 검토하시죠.

 = Let's examine the contract. / Let's go over the contract.

We have a counteroffer. - 우리는 대안을 갖고 있어요.

 = We have an alternative offer. / We have a revised offer.

Is this clause acceptable? - 이 조항은 받아들일 수 있나요?

 =  Is this provision acceptable?, Is this section acceptable?

We need to find a consensus. - 합의점을 찾아야 합니다.

 = We need to reach an agreement. / We need to build a consensus.

Let's finalize the agreement. - 합의를 마무리하시죠.

 = Let's complete the agreement. / Let's conclude the agreement.

 

좀더 효율적인 공부법을 한번 고민해봐야겠다.. 성인이 되고나서 어느정도 영어를 아는 시점에서 뒤늦은 공부를 하려니.. 이건 아는것 같고 모르는 것만 하자니 또 아는것도 모르는 것 같고 너무 힘이 든다 ...  :(

문장 구절을 통째로 머릿속에 갖고 있어야 다양한 상황에서 대처가 되는 것 같은데,, 정작 미팅에서 실제로 발생하는 상황들은 전혀 새로운 상황이라 어버버하는 상황을 너무나도 자주 겪고 있는 스트레스 ㅠㅠ
