[미팅 영어회화] 나 노력중이야, ~하고 있어 라는 표현들

지난주 미팅에서 상대방과 대화를 하는데, 반복적으로 “I`m trying to”를 쓰고 있는 나를 발견했다. 상황마다 여러 표현이 있을텐데 머릿속에 들어있지 않으니 너무 답답했다. 분명 아는데 연습하지 않으면 실전에서 못써먹지… 먼가 내가 하고 있다는 다른 표현들은 어떤게 있을까?

 

1. I’m working on
   예문: I’m working on finding a solution that works for both of us.
2. I’m aiming to
   예문: I’m aiming to address your concerns with this approach.
3. I’m looking to
   예문: I’m looking to clarify the terms so we’re on the same page.

 

좀 더 Polite한 표현(너무 academic하지만..)

1. I seek to
   예문: I seek to better understand your perspective.
2. I’m endeavoring to
   예문: I’m endeavoring to meet the expectations you’ve outlined.
3. I intend to
   예문: I intend to propose a solution that aligns with our objectives.
4. I aim to
   예문: I aim to build a mutually beneficial partnership.
5. My intention is to
   예문: My intention is to clarify any misunderstandings.

조금 강한 어조로 지금 진행 중임을 표현

1. I’m focusing on
   예문: I’m focusing on finding the best way to proceed.
2. I’m making an effort to
   예문: I’m making an effort to address all points thoroughly.
3. I’m in the process of
   예문: I’m in the process of reviewing your concerns.

좀더 가볍게 검토하는 느낌의 표현들

1. I’m exploring
   예문: I’m exploring ways to adapt this plan to your needs.
2. I’m considering
   예문: I’m considering your input as I develop this strategy.
3. I’m working toward
   예문: I’m working toward a solution that benefits everyone.
